The Pilgrim
The Pilgrim was founded in 70s by the students of the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction University (STU), but when they graduated, the band fell apart.
In 2004 Andrey Kovalev found new musicians, wrote many songs and The Pilgrim returned back.
In May 2004 The Pilgrim performed their first concert on the "Bike Show" in Pushkino. In the years 2005-2006 The Pilgrim had many concerts in Moscow. Also they took part in the great rock festivals like "Nashestvie-2005","Emmaus-2006" and in "Glorious Russia" tour in Moscow, Oryol and Nijny Novgorod. In 2007 The Pilgrim arranged some successful solo concerts in the "Relax" and "Point" clubs in Moscow.
In the September 2006 The Pilgrim shoot their first video on the same-titled song. Scenarist and director - Alexander Soloha. A bit later they shoot another two videos for songs titled "On The Line Of Fire" (co-recorded with "The Master") and "Glorious Russia". Watch videos on REN TV, 02 TV, Stolytsa, and DTV and Music Box channels. Work on new video "Not A Demon, Not An Angel" is mostly finished.
Nowadays The Pilgrim is a strong band with their own style and energy. The Pilgrim’s style is mixing of old hard rock traditions with modern styles like industrial, alternative and heavy metal. The power of The Pilgrim’s is based on their love to motherland, sincerity, honesty and strong energy.
Andrey Kovalev: "Rock is truthful and pure music that comes from the hearts of the musicians who playing it. The song "Glorious Russia" is a hymn of our shows. It was written by me on the single breath and finishing our festivals. Musicians and spectators are singing it all together".

President Putin and his party give support for hard-rock bands like The Pilgrim. People can enjoy patriotic music on their free concerts.

The "Glorious Russia" festival protects multicultural and multinational Russia and hard-rock music - says Andrey Kovalev - The Pilgrim leader. Also the "Glorious Russia" is a good opportunity for young bands - it’s not easy to organize hard-rock concert. "Glorious Russia" is a present for hard-rock fans.
